If you ever see an operating room or go for specialized medical care, you’ll notice that a frequently used tool are the Hartmann forceps or also known as alligator forceps.
Its a tool rarely found in someones toolbox. However, it is many times better then a pair of tweezers:
Gripping force – You are able to grab and really clamp down
Access – Only the very end opens and closes:
Feathering pressure – unlike tweezers, there is no spring and therefore no risk of loosing grip
Sizing – you can buy them in all sorts of lengths and orientations
